A research & creative studio; we build critical tech literacy by demystifying, critiquing, and playing with emerging technologies.

About:

Decifer is a research & creative technology studio dedicated to building playful, interactive public literacy tools that enable people to understand, critique, and reimagine emerging technologies. We conduct empirical research on the efficacy of literacy interventions and responsible use and design of technology, and build accessible experiences that leverage creative technology, first-person storytelling, and interactivity to allow people to understand the digital systems they interface with on a daily basis and reflect on their personal and social harms.
